New Year's Love!

Posted by

Hello Darlings!

I first want to say that I hope that the year ahead is filled with lots of positive things. Like self-discovery & personal growth or spending time with friends and connecting with people. And, of course, a plethora of orgasms!

I did a hell of a lot this past year and one result is that I have this body-positive sex store and blog that connects me with all sorts of amazing people, like you. Thank you all for the support you’ve shown me in whatever way you could. It means the world to me.

In an effort to continue to encourage my life to continue in a positive direction, I’m doing something in lieu of making new year’s resolutions. I don’t find resolutions to be very encouraging as the only course you have if you don’t stick to them is beating yourself up for not doing them. We humans do the best we can at any given moment and having a list of ‘I should’s to hold over our own heads doesn’t acknowledge how many amazing things we *actually* do to get us through the weeks and months. I’ve decided to stop ‘should-ing’ all over myself by focusing on the stuff I know I’m going to accomplish.

Enter the ‘Rememberlutions Jar’, which is a way to keep a record of all the good things that happen in your life over time. Basically you decorate a glass jar however you like (mine is shown below) and then write down positive things that happen in your life as they happen & place them in the jar. At the end of the year you dump it out and revisit all the things! They can be anything you deem to be important. I’ve also decided to put dates on mine so I can timeline them if I want.

If you are inspired to make a your own Rememberlutions Jar, let me know & perhaps we can share some highlights at the end of 2015.

Thank you all again for being a part of my journey. I wouldn’t be here without you.

Cheers,

         ~Rachel
